BUILDING THE PROJECT

When Meow Wolf announced they would be launching another of their world-famous immersive experiences in Denver, Colorado, Elitch Gardens had to get in on the action. An overhaul of the existing audio system was completed by first replacing the analog equipment with digital hardware. A centralized digital signal processor, remote touchscreen control interfaces, and new paging stations were installed to expand the capabilities of communication and control. The network-based architecture allows for easier upgrades, off-site monitoring, and connection into the building’s life-safety system for emergency announcements and system standby. Additionally, the interior queue line was outfitted with large commercial displays showing a looping pre-show animation reel that was synced with the show’s opening animatronic. From the exterior queue, to the gift shop, and throughout the ride, we worked to help guests hear and see all of the carefully curated content that made the experience truly one-of-a-kind.
